What a great day today was ....
First I had the day off.. so immediately upon waking up I am in a good mood !!!
I got my eyebrows waxed, got a haircut ( which I am not sure if she cut it properly until I do my own hair!) but nonetheless, i got it cut.
I went to Micheal's this afternoon and of course I am stacked with 40% off coupons cause I get them by email, ads and friends from work. I stand in line to pay and this gentlemen is buying a corner unit valued at 39.99$ for creating a tv stand. My assumption was that his wife was a scrapbooker but nope, it's a tv stand.
So I ask him, as he gets his credit card out to pay for it... after taxes and such about 47$.
He says he has no coupon. Without hesitation I give him one of mine. I said it's for you to save about 20$!! He was floored! A Very happy man he was and it was a real pleasure for me to give him the coupon. So minor and made such a difference to him.
That's my good deed for the day!
I got a parcel in the mail from a new scrap store i discovered in St. Hubert Quebec.. called Mon Scrapbook ... I needed a few items to complete a project and about 3 days later it's in my mailbox!!! I like that service.
Ok, so have you been drooling over the new CHA stuff coming out? Some i am disappointed in. I must say Pink Paislee ... not what I was hoping for.. too bad! But oh YUMMMY October Afternoon. They have a new blog! Finally after almost a year of stalking their website and wishing they had more to offer... they now do. Take a peek!
and Cosmo Cricket ... oooo those papers looks like so much fun. Can't wait to play with those.
Oh I wish to attend CHA in July. It's in ORLANDO!!!! yup.. so definitely on my bucket list!
Alright, LOST is BACK! Finally ... I can't believe it's been months since the last episode. Steve is going to TIVO this tonight so we can watch it tomorrow without commercials! Nothing that I hate more is watching a fabulous tv show ... and some stupid commercial comes on... So Fast Forward Commercials and enjoy the show or Pause and get Popcorn! LOL!!!
that's it for me tonight.. I am sure I could write more but that's it!

DT Kits and Winter Pics!
I thought I would change my blog banner and background today ... to something more vibrant than white and blue. So since Valentine's Day is about 1 month away .... a little love theme was in order! This is a picture of hubby and i about 2 years ago. It was taken at about 2am after a bonfire in our backyard.

I got my digital elements here: Sweet Shoppe Designs. My banner is a scraplift from one of the layouts showcased with this collection.

I haven't done any real scrappin in the past few days... I kind of finished a layout but i need a title before i can post! It's coming...
I did get my dt kit for Feb from Scrapbook Sussies. Here is a sneak peek at our kit this month. Can you see some Rusty Pickle in there?!! mmmm can't wait to play!

I also got a few new buttons from My Little Bit Of Whimsy! Stephanie has produced some adorable hearts and flowers for Valentine's Day. Take a peek! These are the cutest buttons I have ever seen. I don't even want to put them on a layout... I just want to keep them in a yummy jar all for me!!! So FUN!

It is a freezing day here in New Brunswick. I think with the wind it's a brisk -30degrees! BRRRRRRRR... Here are a few pics from our backyard about 2 days ago..

Natalie just announced a new class at Creative-Scrappers... click here to get more info!
and of course there is always TONS to do at CS ... so come join us!

Kreativ Award!!!
Well it's 830am here. I am on vacation so really nowhere to go. Hubby woke me up early to get ready cause I was gonna go run a few errands for the crop this weekend.. then I looked outside and the roads are a bit icy.. it's blowing snow and a freezing rain warning .. so after a shower and washing my hair etc... I then decide I'm staying home and will do this tomorrow or tonight. So I am ready with no where to go!!
So i figured I would write a blog entry!
My friend Stephie is getting her eyes lasered today. I wish her well and also a speedy recovery!

Holiday Extravaganza!
Our Christmas Day Adventures! Where to start..?

Well Hubby and I left on Dec 23rd to visit my family in Northern New Brunswick. The sun was shinning, the car packed, and we are ready for a 3 1/2hour drive up north. We arrived at about 6pm with mom greeting us with a home baked Salmon Pie, Fiddleheads and mashed pototoes... mm I love mom's cooking! After dinner Steve and I visited my sister and her hubby. Little Miss Megan was in bed fast asleep but Little Miss Marissa was still awake. So nice to see them ... they grow fast!
Christmas Eve Day ... My sister comes to wake us up at about 930am ... as Steve and I were enjoying a lazy morning.. We chatted for about 1 hour about life and Christmas past. Steve and I got ready to bring some gifts to her house. As we arrive Miss Megan greets us at the door with a warm smile... she's really precious! I had my two arms full of gifts and as she backed up to let us in she took a SERIOUS flip and hit the floor face first bumpin her head really hard on the hard wood floor! OH MY.... it hurt Me more than her I think. She hit the floor so hard it made a loud noise... so not taking any chances we brought her to the emergency room for xrays and evaluation. Poor thing.... I was sooo sad. Everything turned our well, so off we went to my mother's for turkey dinner. We were about 10 of us. Mom never disapoints with her amazing TURKEY, STUFFING and all the fixings! YUMMMMY!!! Yup.. I had my share and a few glasses of wine later too...

Christmas Eve, all adults opened gifts, had some drinks and enjoyed the company of family.
I was fortunate to receive cash for a new CANON LENS ... that I will hopefully be able to get tomorrow and also some Frying Pans from Paderno. These are the BOMB! My Sister, Steve and I went to church for midnight mass and got to bed at about 130am.
Christmas Day the phone rings at about 8am ... Yup Little Miss Marissa calling to let us know Santa came with presents! So we all got up, some with a bit of a hangover, but everyone was up to enjoy the girls open gifts. Tons Tons Tons of clothes, Baby Alive and of course Crayalo Fun Kits. What a wonderful Christmas!

Steve and I got home on Christmas Night and enjoyed some time watching Christmas movies.
The only thing I am really disappointed with is my photos! I took tons of pictures, but because it was so dark in the house they pretty much all turned out " Bla" looking! So, I am sorry to say I have no fabulous pictures to showcase!!!!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Pyjama Party!
yup, that's what I am having today ... a Pyjama Party. Who's invited... ME only! I am sick, my throat feels like someone is having a bonfire in it at my expense. I coughed all night - and got out of bed at 5am. Mr. Buckleys is not helping me right now!!! I finished a bottle already and still no sign of relief. Doctor says stay home from work for 3 days and get some rest. I wonder how I'm suppose to get some rest when all I do is cough and swallow.
I've been sleeping with a halls in my mouth, but I am terrified if I swallow this yummy cherry flavored remedy that I'll choke to death in my sleep!!!
So, today I am relaxing and playing around online with my hourly cup of lemon tea or echinechea tea or neocitron, and chicken soup. It's Christmas in only ... 4 days !!! I have nothing done!!! HELP! ... I guess it doesn't pay to leave things at the last minute! But i do have a list .. all i need is the size to be available! ... and of course I hope to feel better for a few festivities.
That's my party....
I created another blog banner this morning at 6am!!
Seems to be something I enjoy doing in the weee hours of the morning...
