Hello Sunshine | Layle By Mail

Hello Friends!

I'm here today to share a layout using the Season Pass Collection 2.0 Spring Summer. I created a layout using this collection but changed the narrative a bit. The title Hello Sunshine can be interpreted in different ways. It can be Hello Sunshine when the sun is out and it's a beautiful day or in this case it just means a greeting that I would say to my nieces or even a friend.

I found these cute pics of my niece and I had to write something about her sweet cheeks!
I used strips of paper 1"x8" and 2 photos in different sizes with a journal card. I thought this little trio was perfect and the yellow was a nice touch.

I created the background using the Ink Splatters in different colors and also the Spring Summer Stamp Set that coordinates with this collection. I love a white background but sometimes adding color just adds a little extra for your eyes.

I added some journal strips and my little title at the top "Hello Sunshine".
I have to point out that I moved when I stamped the Snapshots - I was a bit discouraged but then I realized it's just part of the process and left it as is ;)
The lesson is Don't Sweat the small stuff - just create!

Summer Fun | Layle By Mail

Hello Friends!

We’re still in spring, but that’s perfectly fine! I’ll create a beach/summer layout anytime. I used the Season Pass Spring and Summer collection for my page, incorporating lots of little extras from the die-cuts and rub-ons.

I began my page by drawing a large circle from a dinner plate. (Yes, I do that!) I also did some messy sewing because it’s time for a new sewing machine. My sewing is a bit messy, but I’ll embrace it.

I included a cute picture of my nephew at the beach, playing in the sand and starting his sand sculpture. I used a few 3x4 journal cards for colour behind the sand, which is 4x6.

I also added rub-ons to a piece of white cardstock and used it as a background for my picture. I really like this approach. Instead of rubbing the rub-ons directly onto the page.

I hope you enjoy this cute page and find it inspiring for your next beach layout.

Hello May | Layle By Mail

 Hello Friends!

I am here today to share a layout with you using the LBM Season Pass Spring/Summer collection. This is the perfect collection kit to create some of the spring/garden pictures that you have laying around.

My layout is called May Flowers and it's a beautiful picture of my mother. She loves gardening and could spend hours outside with her hands in the dirt. She creates beautiful clusters of trees, shrubs, and perennials as well as a few annuals. It's always so beautiful and smells nice in the backyard ;)

I used 3 pieces of patterned papers and distressed the edges for some dimensions. Of course I had to add popdots on my diecuts and I did use a stamp to create some color behind my pictures. It's so much fun to create a little stamped background on a page. (See my little dots/spashes of color?)

Thank you for visiting the blog today - I hope you are inspired to create your own May Flowers layout ;)
Happy Spring!
Kristine

Always Take Time for New Adventures | Layle By Mail

It's Springtime! I am so happy to be creating with the New Season Pass Spring/Summer Collection. It's all about flowers, bunnies, and bees!

I am sharing a layout today that I created using this new Spring Summer Collection - I wanted to use so many papers and I used this beautiful paper with irregular circles. I love those so much. I can see myself using more of this paper in a future page.

A sweet picture of my niece on a little adventure to a little town in our province. It was a beautiful sunny day and well let's just say bunnies were around shall we? LOL! I had to use these little rub ons and diecuts because they were too cute ;)

I didn't do any journaling on my page other than the year and location. I cut out the title from a 3x4 card and did a bit of sewing. My sewing machine is ready for retirement I think but nonetheless It still looks cute.

I added some paint splats to add some color on the white grid paper but so many stamps could be used for a cute background. This wasn't hard to make so please feel free to scraplift and share your page with us in our facebook group.

Happy Spring Friends and Happy Creating!
Kristine

Spring Raindrops | Layle By Mail

I am here to share one of my latest layouts using the Layle By Mail Winter/Spring Season Pass Collection. I must admit before I show you my layout that I was a bit intimidated by umbrellas. I had no pictures whatsoever of anyone I know with an umbrella so I posted on facebook and asked a friend and he was nice enough to share this cute pic of his daughter and I loved the image so much and it was perfect for the LBL paper! I love how that works out ;)

My layout is called Spring Raindrops and I got the title from the little rubon words ;)
I used the umbrella papers which are adorable and cut file of some dots to give it that rain effect.

I added some cute diecuts and I cut up a journaling card to fit on my page. You can see here the little rub-on "hints of Spring Raindrops" which I am using for my title ;)  My diecuts have been put on with some pop dots for some dimension.

This is a close up of the umbrellas ;) How cute?! I cut up a few umbrellas and added them with pop dots to the existing umbrellas. Just for something different and I really enjoyed the process of fussy cutting with the Layle By Mail Fussy Cutting Scissors.

Hope you feel inspired to create your own layout using the umbrella paper and some cute embellishments! YAY for Springtime !!

This Was Amazing | Layle By Mail

 Hello Friends!

I have a new layout to share with you all today ! It's called "This Was Amazing". You might not be able to see the title because I am just using a word strip stamp on the bottom of the layout. Something different. I thought it was cute ;)

I created this page using the Winter/Spring Season Pass collection - The pinks are so pretty in this collection and of course I had to use them for a cute sister page.  I used a hexagon cut file to cut out a hex shape for my layout. I wanted to use ALL the papers in this collection and this was perfect to add those left over pieces and to create something unique on a layout.
I also stamped a few hearts on the dark pink paper and stamped the title This was amazing.

I added strips for my journaling and used a piece of white cardstock for the backing.
It was a fun layout and of course I added lots of popdots and diecuts to finish the page with dimension.

Thanks for letting me share today !

So Lovely | Layle By Mail

 Hello Friends!

I am here today sharing a "lovely" page using the Season Pass 2.0 Winter Spring Collection.
I was so inspired by the colors and the patterns in these valentine / love papers I had to use most of them on my page.  My nieces are pretty cute too ;)

To start my page I used a piece of pink cardstock because I was using a white background. I wanted something to brighten my page and this was perfect.
I cut a few pieces of 3x4 papers to add behind my picture and across the page. I used the die cuts to add some details and also dimensional adhesive to add sweet extras around my picture.

I added rub-ons on the bottom part under my title and then at the top next to my tag. These rub-ons are so fun to use and add a little extra detail to a page or project. I hope you give them a try.
I made my own title using my SIlhouette Cameo and added some distress ink on the bottom to give it some color instead of white.
Adding a few strips of papers at the bottom just added extra color to my page. This paper is too cute not to use every single piece!

I hope you have a wonderful February and don't forget to create some of those " Lovely " memories.

Winter Weather | Layle By Mail

Hello Friends and Happy New Year!

I created a layout this week about a winter storm in 2017. It was a while ago but it is still relevant today ;) Snow is something we get lots of here on the east coast of Canada and in 2017 It was a snow storm to remember.
This layout is called Winter Weather.

In 2017 my husband and I went on a little trip to Las Vegas to escape the cold winter weather. A few days before we were going to leave we heard an alert that the weather was going to be really bad with flight cancellations so we decided we should go home earlier. This picture was taken the day after the storm.

I used the NEW Season Pass 2.0 collection WInter/Spring. The blues in this collection are so beautiful and have quite a variety of tones that make it match perfectly with my picture. Funny how that works so well ;)

I added a few of the new Rub-ons on a tag for a little extra detail - those are so cute and versatile .. for sure an #addtocart item !  I also added some diecuts with dimensional adhesive to complete my layout. Are you surprised about dimensional adhesive? ;)

Happy 2026 friends, and I cannot wait to share more projects using LBL products for you this year.
