WCMD | Jillibean Soup

Did You celebrate World Card Making Day? It was on October 7th and I was lucky enough to participate and I ended up creating over 12 cards. I am pretty happy about that - I did some stamping, coloring, painting and really had a great time. These two cards are for the Jillibean Soup Sketch Challenge. I created 3 sketches and I was able to create 2 cards.

Vintage Blessings | Simple Stories

Hello Friends!
Here are 2 layouts I recently created for Simple Stories using Vintage Blessings.

The first layout is called " Love & Laughter "

This layout was created with 1 piece of 12x12 patterned paper and the rest was used with 3x4 journal cards that I cut out from the Journaling Card Elements paper. So simple to create a layout using these cards as 3x4 pieces of paper and not necessarily journaling cards. You can use the reverse side, only parts of the card or trim what you need !

I added a few pieces of stickers from the 4x6 sticker pack, a few chipboard pieces and some enamel dots. I did add some glossy accents on the hearts to add a bit of glossy shine and dimension.

My second layout is called " Thankful "

I used a bit more papers on this layout. I love how they are match each other and the picture kind of fits perfectly with this collection!

I used the Thankful Chipboard piece to create my title. For some extra depth and dimension I used some dimensional adhesive underneath and of course layered around the title and photo.

Beautiful You | Jillibean Soup

Sharing a layout I created for Jillibean Soup today. It is called Beautiful You.

I used some NEW Farmhouse Stew papers and peapod parts and actually a recent picture of my niece. She seriously doesn't allow me to take pic of her anymore so I was lucky enough to grab a few pics from a photo shoot she and her family did this past summer. TEENAGERS!

For You | Jillibean Soup

I am sharing a card with you today that I created for Jillibean Soup.
It is a shaker card and inside I created a little scene.
My first step was to emboss my card base just to give it some details since I was leaving it white - I didn't want to add color so this was the alternate for me to add details.
I created my background using some distress ink, stamped my little flowers and butterflies and cut them out using the coordinating metal dies. It wasn't complicated! I them finished it off by adding some sequins, nuvo dots and then added the shaker cover.

Shine - You Got This! | Page Maps

The Simple Stories design team was asked to join PageMaps this month to reveal Becky's amazing sketches in conjunction with Simple Stories products.

Becky always seems to push Me. I love that she gives me multi photo sketches because let's be honest, i don't do them very often. I usually like the pages I create for her so it wasn't hard for me to volunteer for this reveal.

This is the sketch I worked with using Simple Stories POSH Collection and a pic of my sweet and sour nephew!
