Yes, What did we do before camera phones? what picture or even how many pictures of ourselves did we take? I could probably count on one hand the self pictures i took prior to getting my iphone. It's crazy now a days and I'm so grateful that cell phones didn't exist when I was 16 !

Here is one of my latest layouts using Summer Squeeze from Bella Blvd, an awesome piechart cut file from Nicole Nowosad and title is from Kerri Bradford. I really enjoyed creating this page and love the bright colors.. never mind my silly face ;-)

August Life Stories | Jillibean Soup

I am trying to keep up to date with my 2014 Project Life and using this new Jillibean Soup Collection was perfect for the end of August Spread. I loved using the Mix the Media elements and lots of kraft! 

The mini placemats are perfect to stamp or decorate but I decided to emboss mine with some lovely green embossing powder. These placemats are AMAZING and perfect for project life spreads.

Love You Girls | Page Maps

The Jillibean Design Team was asked to participate in Becky Fleck's October Page Maps reveal. This is the 12x12 Sketch I was assigned - multi photos (YIKES!) but it was a great challenge. 

I love Becky's sketches as they make me think and create outside my comfort zone.
I really love how this layout turned out. I didn't take the pictures someone else in their family did.

A Cat's Life | 17 Turtles

I am a guest designer for 17 Turtles this week and I have 2 layouts to share with you!

17 Turtles is owned and operated by Juliana Michaels and it's a Digital DieCut shop. Juliana creates her own digital diecut shapes and offers them to you at a great price. I love her store and the variety of shapes and backgrounds she offers. I find backgrounds help me in creating new layouts and makes it a great way to use up scraps too!

here is my page -- called A Cat's Life

I LOVE the bright colors of the Simple Stories SN@P Cat Collection and wanted to create a fun page using Juliana's awesome background called Circle Grid

I used the background as a start to my page and added paper pieces behind the grid.

For My title I used the Good Kitty kit and used pop dots under A & LIFE to give it some dimension.  From this kit I also used the paw and the heart shapes.
It's really a great variety and awesome for Kitty Lovers !

I hope you enjoyed my layout and of course off to Juliana's shop to purchase your own cut files ... She Just added a few more of them today!
