It's not very often that you'll see me participate in online challenges, but for some reason last weekend I was searching for one and came upon this lovely sketch by Anam Stubbington - at MME and what do you know... i finished a layout ;-)

I was lucky enough to attend a crop last weekend hosted by LCOM. I created 2 pages that were used for a page kit. If you love Bella Blvd as much as I do, then this kit is for you! Well, the kit actually sold out in about 2 hours but we will have a limited quantity available next week. I think 6 more kits will be made for anyone who is interested. is it just me? wow i'm having such a hard time taking pics of my layouts lately! BLAH! do you scan yours? do you take a pic of them? if you scan them having elevated elements ( like pop dots ) how does that affect your scan? fill me in please!

Layouts Layouts

Imagine... i had these layouts sitting on my scrap table since .. um... November 18th. Yup it's been almost 2 weeks that these poor pages were just sitting there patiently waiting to be uploaded and commented on ;-)

This first page is called Soft Kitty.. i got inspiration from the TV sitcom the Big Bang Theory! I love that show and if you know the song Soft Kitty... this is my journaling ;-)

This second page is my niece, she's growing up so fast.. my goodness almost 5 years old already.
She's precious and has a great outlook on life - hopefully she can keep it that way!

This third one is my nephew.. He's gonna be a little heart breaker with those baby blue eyes.. Watch Out !!!
The papers used for this layout were the Rocket Age Collection from October Afternoon.

I hope all is well with you! I am currently off work for a few weeks ... since the shingles, and a few other health issues Doc has requested i stay home and rest for a few weeks... nice. Although I think i'm sleeping too much.. those afternoon naps are really too nice.

I sometimes have to ask Siri to wake me up!

eBook in the Making

Over the past few months, i've been asked by a few scrapbookers when i'll start creating an ebook of sketches. I have thought about it, and decided now is a good time as any!
So I have a call out for anyone interested in creating a layout with my sketches, I'll probably be asking about 20-30 designers create for this publication and the book will have hopefully over 100 sketches to create with. So if you're interested email me your info.

Yes, i'm in this digital mood lately ... I've created a few makeovers and one of them includes mine and Creative Scrappers.

I created one today with a christmas feel...
Something was missing... i think it was snow or a tree or something ... maybe i'm not in the christmas mood yet ... so tonight i decided to change it!

isn't this more fun!? I love the snowmen, i'm making believe that's hubby and i are in a snowball fight LOL!! He hit my shovel and well i got him in the neck! LOL ;-)

Instagram | Pics

About a month or so ago hubby suprised me with a new iPhone 4S and wowzers I'm loving it!
I have a few favorite APPS but INSTAGRAM is for sure one of my favorites. I've spent an hour or two ( hee or more! ) just browsing pics and yes taking a few pictures myself.


I love just being able to snap a picture of something/ or someone and voila! I find myself taking pictures of daily items or just stuff that i would never think of with a regular DSL Camera.

Kissie Face

Finally had the opportunity to take a pic to post this recent layout. It's a picture of my niece being silly and making faces. This one is called her Kissie Face! She's so funny and loves to laugh.

The papers used are from Jillibean Soup



I love this page! It took me about 3-4 hours to finish at our crop last weekend, probably because everything is matted on cardstock and then cut out. I just find that the matted papers just pop! Although time consuming, it does have a wonderful effect, something i am enjoying lately.

I have the name of my PAGE Kit Winner! yup, thank you ladies for leaving me comments and I am sure ... SOPHIE will LOVE the 4hr 37 layout kit! Merci Sophie!

Beware!

My sister took this picture of my niece Megan (age 4) on Halloween this year. Isn't she cute in this Gymboree Witch costume? Just Too sweet... my goodness they grow up fast!

I couldn't help myself but purchase some of these sweet TOO CUTE TO SPOOK Bella Blvd papers. I love the colors and this collection was just perfect for Megan's Spookie page!

CS Sketch Reveal

It's Sketch 180 at Creative Scrappers today!

Summertime

Don't you love summertime? the fresh air, the birds chirping, the cool evening breeze, ... oh my winter is fast approaching and I could really use a few more summer days.

I created this SUMMER page of my niece, the picture was taken last year and she's growing up so fast. She's such a joy, always happy and laughing away... this picture i had to ask her to smile for me and well this is what she gave me! Still sweet ;-)

I used the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer Collection.

It's sooooo awesome! I love the colors, the diecuts are just too cute, would you believe i got 2 sheets of diecuts and i plan on creating a mini album with the rest of the papers and journal tags.. That should be done in the next few days or weeks ;-) If you're interested in creating a mini album with me... i'll be posting pics of my finished project shortly. 10 Years Together

yes! I have another page to show you ;-) I am on a roll these days ... it feels kind of nice!

This is a self pic of hubby and i on our anniversary - August 25.
Nothing fancy just the two of us enjoying the day with drinks and sunshine. I used the new Studio Calico, and i love the papers but i just don't feel it's me right now... i am feeling more bright and vibrant these days and well... this wasn't my best but anyhoo...

it's 10 Years Together!
