New Release Blog Hop | Your Next Stamp

It's time for the new September release at YOUR NEXT STAMP!

So Many super cute stamp sets are being released today. These are all great for Fall Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Halloween and so Much More!  The new sets I got to play with include:  Trick or Treat, Ghoultastic Halloween, and One Smart Cookie that I will show you later this month.

My first card is called Bewitching! I love Halloween Cards - mostly just to color fun images and I tend to keep them around for years. I colored these with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and some distress ink for my background.  I added some blue and purple resemble a dark sky and for this card I used the Ghoultastic Stamp Set. I fussy cut all the image so I could add dimensional adhesive  to my card.  SUPER CUTE!!!

Here is my second card Ghostly Greetings using the Trick or Treat Stamp Set.
This card is one of my favs. I love these little dressed up characters and the mom behind the fence watching her kids go trick or treating.  I again added some distress ink for the background and the grass. The grass I added dimensional adhesive to position other elements in the background.

The Craft Kingdom: DIY Craft Projects for Kids and Adults
by Eli Maor

Get your DIY on this fall without having to hit the craft store…
NEW CRAFT BOOK TEACHES KIDS AND ADULTS THAT ART SUPPLIES ARE ALL AROUND US – JUST ADD IMAGINATION!

As fall approaches, Author and artist Eli Maor knows the best way to keep kids and parents
happy is crafting – and it doesn’t have to get too fancy to be fun! Maor, a “crafting minimalist,”
specializes in using what is all around us to create beautiful, fun crafts and DIY projects. With a
passion for recycling, upcycling, and just using what you have on hand, Maor creates gorgeous and
fun projects from common household objects like toilet paper rolls, fabric scraps, even sticks and
twigs from the back yard.
“If you scan the space which you are sitting at right now, you will find you are surrounded by
numerous objects you don’t use very often,” Maor says. “Those objects can easily be turned into a
fun project. There is beauty in appreciating reused items and seeing everything - old and new alike –
as art.”
Maor is sharing some of her favorite projects in her new book, The Craft Kingdom: DIY
Craft Projects for Kids and Adults.
The Craft Kingdom is the one-stop-shop for all things DIY. It contains more than 90 crafts
and projects, organized by subjects like: paints, nature-inspired, stamps, washi tape, soap making,
candle making, recycling art, repurposing, beauty accessories, fabric and textile projects, buttons,
paper and even paper napkins. Each project contains a supply list and detailed, colorful, picture-filled
tutorial. At the end of the book there is a section for stencils to trace shapes needed for the projects,
leaving no stone unturned as you dive into creating.

Eli Maor was raised in a creative home. Her parents owned a publishing house and as a child
she would lose herself in the bright colors and beautiful fonts. Her love for art and creativity
continued into adulthood. She obtained a bachelor of arts in media and business management,
and went on to study interior design. While obtaining her degrees, she sold handmade crafts at
art fairs and booths.
Her first book, The Craft Kingdom, came after years of creating, teaching workshops, and a
whole lot of DIY fun.

Maor shares crafting videos on her YouTube channel, The Craft Kingdom . You can also
connect with her on Facebook , Instagram and Etsy .

The Craft Kingdom is available through Amazon , Barnes and Noble and in select bookstores.
