Live Your Life | Layout

Happy Easter to you! I hope you all had a fabulous day ;-) Hubby and I were really lazy today. We went to bed at about 3am last night and watched a really bad movie. Have you seen This is 40? Probably one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. The beginning was great, but after like 20 min it was all arguing and screaming and really not good!!! Don't watch it ;-)
So today, Hubby and I enjoyed time together, watching TV and staying in our Jammies all day. It was nice !

I'm sharing a layout with you today, Since the Crop and Create event a week or so ago, i've had  great mojo!!! YOUPEEE... i'm so happy about that ;-)

I finished this page last week and had a different title for it, it was going to be Me @ 40, but i decided Me @ 40 should be something else, maybe a multi pic layout.. so i decided to just remove the title and change a few embellies and call it Live Your Life. The title fits, since this was a quick trip to Los Angeles in January 2013. I left on Friday morning at 5am and was home Monday night at 1am. It was so much fun to attend CHA with Nicole and visit Los Angeles and Surroundings.

I find that Bella Blvd just helps me get my mojo going. I think it's the bright colors not sure... But I do Love it! I used tons of products on this page from Elle's Studio, Bella Blvd, Studio Calico, Heidi Swapp, and a few more ...

Last week I was asked by my dear friend Stephanie to create some journal tags for her Project Life Album. I had a digi kit in mind from Lliella Designs - that had tons of kitties. I Love the colors from this kit PURRFECTLY FUZZY, and of course the variety of kitties available. Aren't they cute?!

Treasured Times | Layout

Good Morning!

I have a page to share with you today! It was created using Jillibean Soup's Irish Farm Soup that was just recently released. I LOVE IT! i really love the colors in this kit, and the great arrow diecuts. I'll be using this collection again in the near future ;-)

The layout is called Treasured Times in LA. A Picture of Nicole and I as we were heading to Los Angeles for the day. Both have our " cool " shades on as a disguise. You know so the paparazzi wouldn't recognize us ;P

I did a little messy stitching on this page, i wasn't using my own sewing machine and this one was fast! So I messed up and just kept making it messy ;-)

Hello Hollywood | Layout

YES! i finished a few pages at the crop last weekend. I am not sure how i managed that but i did it in between chats, pictures, and meals. Finishing 3-4 layouts in a weekend is pretty normal for me, so I'm quite happy!

I played with some Amy Tangerine - Yes Please! .. really love this collection. The embellishments are FABULOUS! I played with some stickers, stitching, and a little silhouette title work.

I took a few pictures from my latest trip to California ( Jan 2013 ) and created a collage using PICMONKEY. Very simple to do and then i printed on a 5x7 and voila! cut the excess off. I Love this picture format, adding tons of pictures on a layout isn't my style, but having 1 photo with many pictures is Perfect!

Crop & Create Moncton

For the past year I've been lucky enough to attend a few Crop & Create events and I must say they are my favorite! I love seeing old friends, and of course meeting up with new ones laughing, enjoying some scrapbook time, some shopping, challenges, classes, the guilt free chocolate buffet and so much more!

The latest event in Moncton New Brunswick was no exception.I took a few photos and I can tell you that a photobooth  is just too much fun! The girls and I sometimes go crazy but it's all in fun and laughter! Here are a few pictures from the photobooth.

I did finish 3 layouts during the weekend and I'll be posting those this week. After doing Project Life for 3 months or so it was nice to get into the layout process again.  I purchased enough new goodies to keep me going for a while, perhaps a few pages are on my creative list .. and of course with the new sketchbook ... i'm GOOD to GO!

Project Life | Up To March 18

yes, my Project Life is up to date ! I'm still creating on Saturday nights and often 30 min to an hour on a week night to play with paper. I'm still so loving the process and really happy to be using up some scraps and diecuts ;-) I try to take alteast one picture a day and printing those at home make it so much easier for me to be " caught up"

I prefer to keep some journaling private, so these will show the pictures and soe embellishments i selected for my spreads.

I really LOVE studio calico's veneer shapes - they are my GO TO items!

Have you started PL yet? are you thinking about it?
I LOVE the process and sad I didn't get to start this years ago!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Hubby and I celebrated my 41st birthday yesterday.
We enjoyed cupcakes and went crazy buying Candy at the Freak Lunchbox.
Something really grown up! Had a great time ;-)

This picture was taken at the Freak Lunchbox in our city. Tons and Tons of candy.. some vintage, some crazy and for some reason i bought all kinds of candies that i'm really not a fan of! LOL... i should have bought some chocolate and gummy bears but instead i got .. hard candies.. BLECK.. although i ate them ;-)

 

This is the bowl i got, tons of black balls, boring licorice and what was i thinking!

This is me today, at 41. time for highlights in my hair cause i'm getting too many greys!  Also time to start taking vitamins and maybe lose 50 pounds!
Had a great day with hubby and relaxing night.
