Snow Day - Mini Album

I haven't completed a layout in ages, and in the past 30 days this is the only thing I have completed ( in scrapbooking!)

I love this cute little mini album!!
I first painted all the chipboard from the Basic Grey Mini Album
Added some glimmer mist on all my pages
a little shimmerz on my chipboard and diecuts
and placed everything on my mini

Mon Scrapbook - Reveal

It's a new month for me at Mon Scrapbook and that means a new kit! I am the lucky one who gets to play with We R Memory's new collection called Merry & Bright!

I created a few Christmas Cards with only 2 pieces of paper, a little floss, and cardstock. So Simple and these turned out quite nicely if i do say so myself... ;-)

Playing with Shimmerz

A technique to show you as part of my Saturday reveal for MonScrapbook.com
I am about to get my hands dirty and create a page that is filled with Shimmerz!
What is Shimmerz you ask? well.. Shimmerz^TM is a water-based paint that has the spunk and sparkle to help any project shine!

For my project today I used 2 colors of Shimmerz Paints called
Coffee and Green Olive

To start off my project, i gathered my supplies
2 colors of paints, foam brush and some pattern papers.



It's such a simple step, simply dip your foam brush in the paint ( you can also use a makeup sponge or smaller paint brush!) I like to make a mess, so i used a foam brush. It only takes a few minutes to dry.



The final product is sooo shinney and has the perfect touch of glimmer and shine.



I also used some paint on my flowers for a shimmery brown look and also used it on my brown pattern paper, and chipboard alphas. It can used on anything..prima flowers, foam alphas, even buttons if you wish!


You can see the shimmer on my alphas and flowers from this angle as well.

With Our Sunglasses

Pet Tags

It's reveal day for me at MonScrapbook.com
I am happy to report that I will be playing with some Cosmo Cricket this month and next!

My first page is of Eddie and his pet tags.

Early morning or late afternoon Eddie usually wants to go outside to do his daily duties and observe our surroundings to protect us from Mice, Birds, Squirrels and Bugs. Before he gets to go out we make sure his collar with pets tags are on. He hates it, but after 8 years he understands that when the collar is on, he gets to go outside.
After an hour or so hubby and / or myself yell out the patio door ... BZ ... Buzz Buzz and we see him running from behind the shed or from the trees in the backyard. ... we hear this jingle jingle from his tags as he runs up the stairs to the door... I love seeing his cute little face.. then of course he gets tons of treats cause he's been a good boy! Collar then comes off cause he's inside and he gets a snack and nap .. until he's ready to go out again the next day!



His Pet Tags have his name, my name and our address and phone number. He also has his Town license meaning he's been given his yearly rabies vaccine.


With this page, I distressed the edges and added some Glossy Accent on my alphas.



Can you tell we love our kitty? he is sooo spoiled but really he loves having his photo taken. See him posing in this picture?? ya... he loves it!
