You Are Paw-some! | Your Next Stamp

I am sharing another card I created with the November release from Your Next Stamp. I used the stamp set called Meowy Christmas! No Worries Dog lovers - YNS has a dog set as well called Payliday Pups! 

I created my background with some Distress Oxide, used a diecut called Snowy Mountains Edge Die Set and Double Pierced Hills Die Set. I find both of these sets together create a great dimensional background. My little cat has a snowboard and on the back it says YO!

I colored my design with my zig markers and really like the background. I could have shaded a bit better with my coloring but It's still cute!

Fun Friday Challenge | Your Next Stamp

It's time for a challenge at Your Next Stamp!
This month the designers are  hosting a challenge based on a FALL FUN theme.
I created a book mark with the new stamp set called One Smart Cookie. 
 I first cut out a piece of cardstock with a banner die, stamped my image and masked it before doing the distress ink background, I then colored my little cookie and created a book mark!

New Release Blog Hop | Your Next Stamp

It's time for the new September release at YOUR NEXT STAMP!

So Many super cute stamp sets are being released today. These are all great for Fall Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Halloween and so Much More!  The new sets I got to play with include:  Trick or Treat, Ghoultastic Halloween, and One Smart Cookie that I will show you later this month.

My first card is called Bewitching! I love Halloween Cards - mostly just to color fun images and I tend to keep them around for years. I colored these with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and some distress ink for my background.  I added some blue and purple resemble a dark sky and for this card I used the Ghoultastic Stamp Set. I fussy cut all the image so I could add dimensional adhesive  to my card.  SUPER CUTE!!!

 

 Here is my second card Ghostly Greetings using the Trick or Treat Stamp Set.
This card is one of my favs. I love these little dressed up characters and the mom behind the fence watching her kids go trick or treating.  I again added some distress ink for the background and the grass. The grass I added dimensional adhesive to position other elements in the background.

Popsicle Cards | Pattern Happy

Hello Friends!

It's Kristine with you today and I have some super cute cards to share with you! Summer is coming .. slowly but surely on the East Coast and it's time to start thinking about bright colors and yummy Popsicles!

 

I created 2 similar cards using papers from the Rainbows Paper Pad and the Coolest Ever Clear Stamp Set. I also used birthday phrases from the Bday Bash Clear Stamp.

I first stamped the images on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine ink. I colored with Zig Clean Color Markers (My favs!) then used the Coolest Ever Dies to finish the images with a clean cut.

Since I love popdots so much I added some on the back of both popsicles.
I added a birthday sentiment but anything goes with these cute images. You could do so many other fun titles with the words and phrases included in the Coolest Ever Clear Stamp set.

I have a card I created for the Your Next Stamp Challenge #83 this month!
I completed both challenges on 1 card - the color challenge and the sketch. 

I used the stamp set Fur-ever Friends.

I used distress ink for my background and also the Paint Swooches & Splatters for my carpet in the living room! I did some embossing on the chair and I colored the images using my Zig Clean Color Markers.

I used some pop dots for the chair, the girl and also the dog on the chair. It has a 3 dimension look to it. I really enjoyed created this card and it's one of my favs. Those little kitties right ?! Sooo cute. The one on the left under the chair is Archie and Willie is just watching from afar!

Winter Warm Up | Your Next Stamp

Hello Friends!
I am back joining the Your Next Stamp Design Team for another challenge! It is called a Winter Warm UP. I created a card that was about having FUN in the SNOW! I have great memories about fun winter activities and how much fun we had skating in the homemade ice rink or spending hours at " Death Valley" sliding in our Tire Tubes.. great times!

Layer It Up | Your Next Stamp

Hello Friends! 

I am back joining the Your Next Stamp Design Team for another challenge this week. It is called a DT Dare which means we are sharing more projects made with the stamps from the February release.

This was a fun challenge for me since I use popdots on pretty much everything I create and adding layers is what I do.

The firetruck was also placed with popdots

It's time for the new February release at YOUR NEXT STAMP!

My first card is a super cute one I must say. I have no relations with firefighters at all but these are too much fun! I colored these with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and some distress ink for my background.  I added some grey and black ink to resemble pavement and I used a small stamp from the Paint Swooches and Splats for the texture in the pavement. I used the Stitched Grass Die for some grass so I could add my little dog and firewoman in the background. I added the firefighter on the front with popdots for dimension and then my sentiments.
SUPER CUTE!!!

February Release Preview | Your Next Stamp

It's time for a Sneak Peek of Your Next Stamp's February Release my friends! This release is full of cuteness. If you are a stamper you will NOT be disappointed.

I am featuring a super cute set called Music Chicks! I love those little birdies and the fact that they play a musical instrument is even cuter!

I used some distress ink for my background and added some paint splats with a stamp set called Mini Ink Splatter. I colored the chicks with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and added some popdots for a few of them to give them dimension.

I used the stamp set Silly Love Monster, some misc patterned papers and the Puffy Cloud Die Set.

 

I placed my red background on a card base and created a tag.
I added an edge using the Little Ledges Die Set.
I then used Pop dots under the cute little cupid to give it dimension.
I added my clouds and 1 of them with popdots.
I added my sentiment and some gumdrops for texture.
So Cute!!!!

Hello Card | Your Next Stamp

Hello!
I recently created this super cute card using a stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Fur-ever Friends. I love little kitties and this little one was soooooo cute! I wasn't sure what to do with the books at first but I found that masking a few of the books and creating a larger image was perfect. The cat, the boy and the dog are all adhered with Pop Up dots.

I used some distress ink for my background and colored my images with  Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. (Amazon has the best prices!)

Party Pets - Stamping

I've had these cards in my (gotta blog) folder on my computer and decided I should post them ;) These are all created with stamps from Your Next Stamp. 
The backgrounds were done with Distress Ink - using a blending tool.

The Stamp Set I used for all of these is the Party Pet Collection. I did fussy cut all of the animals so some might be a bit wonkie.. but that's okay!

Aren't they the cutest!!!

I was intimidated with Stamping.. ask anyone that has sat next to me during a crop and I don't think I've ever had a stamp at my station. I was terrified. I made mistakes, it wasn't stamped properly .. it was a total mess!
I discovered the MISTI tool and since then I've never looked back!
Watching You Tube videos also helped me in learning techniques and although I am not using COPICS yet ( I tried ) I really enjoy coloring with my Zig Markers.
