My First She Art

Well, i've been taking Christy Tomlinson's online She Art Class for the past month or more and just last week I sat down to complete my first "She Art". I started and re-started this canvas about 4 times. I had a hard time with my background... but finally I finished. It was fun... really messy but very ... rewarding maybe. It was awesome to use up some ink, paint, rubons, and so much more... i can't wait to start my next one ;-)

If you've been thinking about taking this class..... GO FOR IT! Even if you don't know what you're doing or scared to start... the lessons Christy teaches are amazing... you'll have a fabulous time!
I'll be taking her next online class.. She Had Three Hearts... can't wait ;-)

Sweet Sweet Summer

At the Crop this past weekend I challenged the ladies to create a layout based on this sketch
and only use LilyBee Design papers (6x6) format and the stickers provided... they were permitted to use cardstock, and any other embellies... the reveal was fabulous! All the ladies did a great job ;-) You can see the reveal here .. ....

So Very Handsome

I had the opportunity this past weekend to attend a crop hosted by Let's Capture Our Memories. I arrived Friday at about 2pm and didn't get home till Sunday afternoon at about 2pm. What a fabulous weekend! We got to enjoy some of Tanya's great deserts and also great company from some scrappy friends... Zoe, Marielle, Stephie and so many more girls from LCOM. It was a great time meeting new peeps!! I didn't scrap much... i only finished 2 pages. WHAT!! really... 2 pages. Seriously .. not sure why ... maybe all the chatting that was going on ;-)

Since I am now an Auntie to a sweet little baby boy i have boy pages to look forward to ... this was created using Bella Blvd papers Mr. Boy



I had a great time creating this page... the colors are so nice and bright and isn't that picture of my nephew cute or what!?? He's only about a week old!!!

I'll have another post tomorrow to showcase my second layout ;-)
