I created this page of my niece using the new Jillibean Soup Alphabet Soup II Collection. Super Cute! I love school supplies, and first day of school photos. This picture wasn't taken on that first day but pretty close! Little Miss Megan loves school and she's a super wiz at Math. She loves socializing and something getting into mischief too ;-)

Love the colors, and wanted to create a layout that wasn't Christmas themed.

Who says you can't use Christmas Paper for a non themed layout?! I loved this Color Challenge because it allowed me to use a few Christmas colors and make them work for me into a general layout. Give it a try!

Wood Plank | Jilllibean Soup

This project was so easy to create! A great Christmas or Misc Gift for someone too!
I used Jillibean Soup's wood plank measuring 6x6" , added a small clothespin with glue, created this little bow using the Jillibean Soup burlap banner ( i sewed 2 pieces together and cut accordingly) and voila! Attached the bow with a glue gun and it's a gift! You can add a picture, a note, or a quote ;-)

Carpe Diem Planner | Simple Stories

Are you like me and go crazy for planners and accessories? I have probably 4-6 calendars on the go - 2 for family and bills, 1 for work, 1 for scrapbook projects that are due and 1 on my desk for misc stuff. Crazy! I love calendars but I also love planners. I do have a few planners and have experimented with quite a few.

School's Out | Jillibean Soup

I must admit, fewer than 2 years ago I was almost terrified to create cards. I found it intimidating at times, or maybe I just wasn't comfortable creating them. Since being on the Jillibean Soup design team I have literally loved making cards. It has allowed me to rethink in the card making process, and add something extra to my cards.

I'm sharing a card I created for Jillibean Soup today! It's a sweet back to school card - great for teachers!
I used a mini placemat and added a few diecuts - it was so easy to make!
You could have your kids create their own version for a teacher's gift!! right?!
