When I first saw Amy Tangerine's mini albums - ready for decorating .... i bought about 5 of them!
I love them!!! I love the fact that the pages are already prepared and all you need to do is add photos and embellish ;-) So easy and fun! This mini was my first AT altered mini and I must say I love it! I love the bright colors, the embellies, and well just about everything. I created a mini album of hubby and I in Mexico 2009. I finished this mini a few months ago, but just recently realized it was never posted in my gallery.

Today's Tidbits

I've never done one of these posts and thought it would be nice to share a few tidbits with you today!

What I'm Drinking: I usually enjoy an Iced Coffee this time of year, but for some reason today I bought 2 bottles of SunnyD Orange Juice! Not Sure why, but man it's full of sugar and so yummy! I'm even drinking it with a straw ;-)

What I'm Eating: Hubby is at work tonight, so i had something quick. I hate cooking for myself so I had left over pepperoni pizza. It was gross!

What I'm Listening to: Call Me Maybe – it on my iphone and when i was driving home tonight i had it blarring in the car. I was signing to the top of my lungs and making believe i was calling someone! Seriously .. a crazy lady driving -- but i had a blast singing my myself trying to get attention from oncoming traffic LOL!

What I'm Wearing: It's a little chilly here on the East Coast tonight, so i have jammy capris, long sleeve shirt and comfy socks. I don't match... but i'm really comfy!

How's the Weather: Southern New Brunswick has been amazing this summer. July was sooo HOT. We usually have heat in the 70s and 80s but so many days it was over 90degrees. SOO nice! I'm grateful for our air conditioner that we use at night.

What I'm Needing: To make a little extra money for our Vegas vacation.

What I'm Thinking: I'd love to see my nieces this week and pick up our clay pieces. Little Miss and I had a fabulous time last week and painted about 6 pieces of clay mugs, and bowls. I can't wait to see the finished products!

Ok, this isn't my best piece, really but it looks much better now that i's been glazed! I have it next to my computer monitor to hold all my pens, markers and pencils. I love it!

What I'm Enjoying: I've been enjoying decorating blogs the past few weeks. I haven't been scrapbooking so this is another way for me to be creative!

What I'm Wondering: If I'm going to bring some scrapbook supplies on the plane to Vegas to create a little mini album of our vacation.

What I'm Watching: The 2012 Summer Olympics, Big Brother (no favorite yet, although Boogie and Frank are fun to watch!)


I haven't shared many stories on my blog lately, mostly because I share most of my stories thru photos on Instagram and a few on facebook. If you'd like to see what I'm up to please come follow me and I'd love to add you to my list as well!

See some guidelines below:

The crop dates are July 17th through the 22nd 2012. Designers will be posting their challenges on their individual blogs on Tuesday, July17th. We have designers from all over the world so please be patient as the time zones will vary but they will do their best to have them up first thing Tuesday Morning.

Challenges will be posted on Day 1 and Day 2 and you will have through Sunday Night, July 22nd at midnight EST to get them posted. Schedule posted Monday. All questions should be directed to the Core blog to THIS post or on their Facebook Hard Core Crop page here.

Each Designer will post their challenge on their blog with inlinkz. You will need to link your project to that post, again, by midnight EST July 22nd, 2012. This way you can post your projects on your blog, Flicker, Pinterest, Photobucket or whatever photo sharing site you use and then just link them. We will have a master challenge list on the Core Blog for you so that you can keep track of all the challenges easily. Challenges will be for layouts and cards so everyone will be able to find some challenges they will enjoy.

All you need is Core’dinations Cardstock. You must use Core on your creations to be eligible. Each designer will highlight a certain line of Core but you can use any kind you wish for that challenge as long as it is Core’dinations.

They will also be posting tidbits and fun stuff on our Facebook Event page HERE so stay close because they will have some fun random challenges going on there throughout the week, too!

SO…how do you win some Core???

Designers will pick an entry from their blog to win the Core’dinations Cardstock designated that day. Our team is looking for creative uses for Core (and other things like following rules, etc). Get creative and show off you use that Core’dinations Cardstock!

On (or around)July 27th, 2012, a master list of winners will be posted on the Core blog so please make sure you check back then to see if you won! (Designers will be posting on their individual blogs as well). The more challenges you participate in, the better you chances of winning! You may do each challenge as many times as you wish but you may not combine challenges. We also ask since our Designers and Team have put a lot of time in to this crop that these are newly created projects just for this event.

So get those photos printed…stock up on adhesive…we are ready!

Sharing a few Blog Makeovers

Sorry I'm not much into sharing any stories right now ... I'm sure i'll start shortly! Just feeling under the weather lately .. in the mean time i'm trying to create everyday ;-) here are a few makeovers I just recently finished --

this first one is libby - celebrating her digi anniversary! 4 years actually .. and she wanted a new blog makeover in honor of the celebration. For me, this banner totally SCREAMS LIBBY LOU!

the purple pumpkin will be undergoing a little makeover in the near future, but in the mean time while we wait for her new logo to be created we temporarily redid the blog and banner ...
hopefully we'll have a finished logo soon and a complete redo of the store blog and facebook ;-)



and my last one for this post is Missy's little Nugget Creations! Love the kit she selected for her banner. This just reminds me of a garden gathering. I love the sun, clouds and cute little frogs too. you can check it out here ...

The Things You Do

Yes, i created another page of my little nephew. His album needs a few more pages ... compared to his sisters he's got nothing! So... i'm adding to his album ;-)

I used Jillibean Soup again... and i promise this is the last one for this week alteast!
I still have a few left overs that i want to use up ;-)


now what am i going to play with!? I think a little October Afternoon maybe... I have some cupcake sitting on my desk and even a little Pebbles Inc.!

Can you tell I'm on vacation this week!!? Yup, the weather has been nothing but rain and clouds so i figured why not claim the kitchen table as my own this week and Create! That's what i'm doing ;-)
