A Delightful Day

This past summer I had the chance to spend a day at the park with my nieces. It was a beautiful night, not a lot of flies, and the sun was setting so nicely over the trees in the park. I took this sweet photo of Megan enjoying the slides and jumping around from swing to slide. I asked her to be a super model for me.. and this is what she gave me!

i've had tons of October Afternoon Woodland park and decided it was time to use it! I know it's not christmassy or even fallish ... but that's okay! I'm not a scrapper that needs that type of organization! Summer Pics it is ;-)

Have a fabulous week!!

Let's Meet

Good Afternoon Friends!
Can you tell I've been in a scrappy mood the past 2 weeks!? It's kind of nice to be using  up some products and being creative again.

In September, I headed to Crop and Create in Ottawa with Stephanie and we met up with Nicole Nowosad! Nicole and I have been friends online for a few years now and decided this was the perfect place to meet up and see each other! So Much FUN! She's a riot, and so similar to Stephanie and I in personalities. I Love her muchly and can't wait to see her again next year at a few events!
So this layout was about meeting up and visiting the city together.

I used some Pebbles Inc again on this page. I love the colors of this collection and the patterns are perfect! I still have a few sheets left for another page or mini ... If you haven't seen this collection yet .. it's on sale at TWO PEAS today!

Wishing my US Family and Friends a FABULOUS Thanksgiving!

A Day Adventure

Creating with a little Basic Grey Clippings today! I love the banners, an assortments of patterns, and great to play with. I played a bit with my silhouette again... see a pattern here .... !!! I'm trying to scrap a little out of my element and I'm enjoying this!

The arrows, and the ' Adventure ' title were cut with my cameo and i do like the outcome. Do you have a silhouette? have you used it ? do you love it !?
I"m curious!

This is a picture of my honey. We got in the car one Sunny Sunday afternoon and were planning on a day trip to St. Martins, but we ended up taking the wrong exit and ended up in the countryside instead. I took a wrong turn and well ... we ended up enjoying ourselves even more visiting some lakes, great views, and a few laughs.

X marks the spot on this map. We live in Quispamsis and St. Martins isn't too far away but the x is someplace i've never travelled to .. just passed by on the highway.

So i called this page.. a day adventure!

thanks for reading today! Have you ever gotten lost driving some place and enjoying the process of finding your way back?

Remember This You Cutie

Remember this you cutie!

A page I created for a color challenge at Two Peas last week.
I loved the turquoise color and decided to go ahead and give this a try. I rarely do color challenges of any sorts but this was fun. It was also great using one paper collection with all these colors ;-) Pebbles Seen and Noted had this color combo already done for me!

A few close up details. I used my sewing machine, some inks, and my cameo to great the circle background. I also used my silhouette for the tags, and 1/2 circle banner. Don't tell Stephanie and Nicole, but I'm kind of enjoying this Electrical Cutter Thingy of a Silhouette Cameo!

- Remember this you cutie, I love your smile!

Thanks for stopping by today!

December Mini with Tortellini Soup

Hello Readers!

I'm sharing a December Mini album with you today! It's one I recently finished using some Jillibean Soup - Winter Tortellini
It's kind of a December Daily, except I won't be using it daily.. just for those special moments that happen in December. Like Cookies, Snow, Shopping, Friends and Family gatherings .. and of course our Christmas Tree! (tiny or large!)

I used about 2-3 sheets of paper, and a sheet of diecuts and stickers.
I created my own mini by just folding the papers in half and sewing across. It's not super sturdy but for now it's okay! My machine made a mess, perhaps my settings weren't done properly but it's all bunched up. I left it that way cause it does add a bit of detail !! ;-P

Here are some inside pages for you.. very easy to make !

The brown cardstock pieces will allow me to have a mat for my photos.
they are sized from 3x3 to 4x4. Tons of space for journaling and adding a few of those special touches.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed my little mini showcase today and perhaps this will inspire you to create your own December Daily or December Mini!

Have a fabulous day, I'm off today and I'll be enjoying some Scrapbook Time!

Fun Laugh

A fun Laugh with Stephie! A self pic, and I had to add a few extras on the photos. I don't know why, maybe to showcase how silly we are or how much we laugh together.

For this page I used a title and background created with my Cameo, and the October Afternoon MIDWAY collection. I only had a sheet of paper and some diecuts from this collection -- so i created something a bit different and I kind of like it ;-)

Thanks for visiting today!

Big Sister - Little Sister

I love my nieces!

This was a picture I took last summer. Megan was wearing her mother's sandals ( a bit too big for her ) and Marissa is growing up so fast ... i thought it was cute to take a picture of them from the waist down.

I recently purchased a CAMEO and still learning the options I have in creating titles and such.  I used Pebbles Inc - Sunnyside  I didn't have many stickers or embellies from this collection but loved the pink, blue and green colors.

 Big Sister - Little Sister

I was inspired by this layout from Sheri Feypel - she has a fabulous gallery
I love the simple design, and used it for inspiration on my page.

Thanks for peeking!
Have a great day ;-)

Live, Laugh and Play

Good Morning Readers!

Can you tell I was productive last weekend? I've also taken over the kitchen table here at home and trying to create everyday. It keeps my hands and head busy and I'm enjoying it ;-)

This is a page I created using the Simple Stories Summer Fresh Collection

I still love matting my stickers, and diecuts with black or brown cardstock. This wasn't an exception .. I find it makes the stickers sturdier to use pop dots with and also defines the colors.

This is my niece running down a walkway -- she's so active! Loves to run, play, jump and being happy. Yes, she's also moody but most of the time she's happy go lucky!

Here is a close up of my work.
And NO INK on this page!!! hard to believe ;-)

Thanks for your comments this week! It's certainly encourages me to continue scrapping. These non scrappy months are maybe behind me!
( For the winter atleast!)

have you been creating lately?
So tell me, are you participating in the DECEMBER DAILY next month?
I don't have much going on in December -- so I think I am going to do a mini album of - Winter / Christmas Stuff... but not daily.

Have a fabulous weekend.. It's Friday!
Hubby is lucky this weekend -- he's off to UFC ( Georges St.Pierre ) In Montreal. I'm sure he'll have a fabulous time. Lucky me, I have to work ;-D

Enjoy and thanks for dropping by!
