See some guidelines below:

The crop dates are July 17th through the 22nd 2012. Designers will be posting their challenges on their individual blogs on Tuesday, July17th. We have designers from all over the world so please be patient as the time zones will vary but they will do their best to have them up first thing Tuesday Morning.

Challenges will be posted on Day 1 and Day 2 and you will have through Sunday Night, July 22nd at midnight EST to get them posted. Schedule posted Monday. All questions should be directed to the Core blog to THIS post or on their Facebook Hard Core Crop page here.

Each Designer will post their challenge on their blog with inlinkz. You will need to link your project to that post, again, by midnight EST July 22nd, 2012. This way you can post your projects on your blog, Flicker, Pinterest, Photobucket or whatever photo sharing site you use and then just link them. We will have a master challenge list on the Core Blog for you so that you can keep track of all the challenges easily. Challenges will be for layouts and cards so everyone will be able to find some challenges they will enjoy.

All you need is Core’dinations Cardstock. You must use Core on your creations to be eligible. Each designer will highlight a certain line of Core but you can use any kind you wish for that challenge as long as it is Core’dinations.

They will also be posting tidbits and fun stuff on our Facebook Event page HERE so stay close because they will have some fun random challenges going on there throughout the week, too!

SO…how do you win some Core???

Designers will pick an entry from their blog to win the Core’dinations Cardstock designated that day. Our team is looking for creative uses for Core (and other things like following rules, etc). Get creative and show off you use that Core’dinations Cardstock!

On (or around)July 27th, 2012, a master list of winners will be posted on the Core blog so please make sure you check back then to see if you won! (Designers will be posting on their individual blogs as well). The more challenges you participate in, the better you chances of winning! You may do each challenge as many times as you wish but you may not combine challenges. We also ask since our Designers and Team have put a lot of time in to this crop that these are newly created projects just for this event.

So get those photos printed…stock up on adhesive…we are ready!

Sharing a few Blog Makeovers

Sorry I'm not much into sharing any stories right now ... I'm sure i'll start shortly! Just feeling under the weather lately .. in the mean time i'm trying to create everyday ;-) here are a few makeovers I just recently finished --

this first one is libby - celebrating her digi anniversary! 4 years actually .. and she wanted a new blog makeover in honor of the celebration. For me, this banner totally SCREAMS LIBBY LOU!

this next one if for Jenny Evans, i love the colors she selected, so bright and fun! that blue to screams to me and with a little pop of red -- it's perfect for her

the purple pumpkin will be undergoing a little makeover in the near future, but in the mean time while we wait for her new logo to be created we temporarily redid the blog and banner ...
hopefully we'll have a finished logo soon and a complete redo of the store blog and facebook ;-)



and my last one for this post is Missy's little Nugget Creations! Love the kit she selected for her banner. This just reminds me of a garden gathering. I love the sun, clouds and cute little frogs too. you can check it out here ...

The Things You Do

Yes, i created another page of my little nephew. His album needs a few more pages ... compared to his sisters he's got nothing! So... i'm adding to his album ;-)

I used Jillibean Soup again... and i promise this is the last one for this week alteast!
I still have a few left overs that i want to use up ;-)


now what am i going to play with!? I think a little October Afternoon maybe... I have some cupcake sitting on my desk and even a little Pebbles Inc.!

Can you tell I'm on vacation this week!!? Yup, the weather has been nothing but rain and clouds so i figured why not claim the kitchen table as my own this week and Create! That's what i'm doing ;-)

Cute Little Dude & Typepad

Did you read my post yesterday about my love for Macho Nacho?! Well today is no exception! I created another layouts last night using this awesome Jillibean collection -- when i finished i looked at it and realized it's pretty close to the one i created 2 nights ago ;-) I've been creating girlie pages for the past few years with the occasional kitty page, so creating for my little nephew is encouraging me to create manly/ boy pages.

Well yesterday I started playing around TYPEPAD, and seeing if i could do a few edits to their templates... so i could " decorate " a few Typepad blogs.. I managed to learn a few things thanks to Google... and from a plain page this is what i ended up with..

I am able to edit to 2 columns, or 3 and also create banners/ backgrounds/ and a few sidebar items. I haven't mastered the signature or post separator yet but i'm sure i can find out how. 100% Boy - Macho Nacho

There is something about Jillibean Soup paper collections that just grabs my eye. I love them all! I love the fact that you can get sticker sheets, diecuts, and great double sided papers to create ( in my opinion ) great pages! I love the colors of this new collection MACHO NACHO!
It is great for man, boy, and even some girl pages. I created this page last night in probably less than 2 hours .. and loved every minute of it.

I have a THING for diecuts and stickers and mounting them on pop dots just makes me happy! Is that normal?! probably not to most but i can be sure as a scrapper you can relate right?! RIGHT!?! ... anyhoo, if you have a change to play with this collection -- DO IT!
