She's All That!
My Dear Friend Stephie and I scrapbooked last night till about 1am. I was getting a little sleepy so I had to kick her out ! hahaha... It's always fun to scrap with someone else sometimes but then there are moments when your Scrappy Friend says " Are you Scrappin Her Again?!" In a joyful way of course .. and I replied YES! Yes I am!!!
I don't have many photos as most of you know .. my little nieces are a few hours away from me and her mom doesn't take many pics..( HINT HINT!) the only pics i have are the ones I've stollen off Facebook for them... and well I am limited. So yes, I have scrapbooked my older nieces again!
Hopefully soon i'll have more pics but for now .. it's to my current stash of G and S!
Basic Grey Lemonade papers were used for this page, and my gobs of glitter!
And i'll let you all know that next week I do have a pic of hubby that i'm scrappin!! It's only 11 years old but it's still good! hahahah Stephie! XOXO
Don't forget tonight is Big Brother! Are you watching??
Have you seen this picture of Jeff and Russell ??? DROOL!!!
Oh my... god makes wonderful creatures!!
On that note, have a great Sunday night!

Mon Scrapbook Reveal #2
It's Sunday today and that means my layout #2 at MonScrapbook is revealed!
I am really enjoying this kit .. it's filled with nice bright colors and of course My Little Shoebox never disappoints!
This is a layout I created of my niece being " Playful "
So nice and bright isn't it? and that black cardstock is perfect to show off those colors. Speaking of Cardstock... Um when i was playing with this page I had a black embossed piece of cardstock that came with the kit .... I started painting the edges to showcase the embossed work and um.. I goofed!
this is what the layout looked like .. I didn't like it so I removed the black painted cardstock and added a plain one!
HOpe you have a fabulous Sunday! It's going to be nice and sunny here today. Maybe a day trip for hubby and I... or just relaxing in the hammock!
I'll have another Mon Scrapbook Reveal next Sunday so I hope you'll stop by!
Don't forget to add yourself as a follower and let me know ... I have a rak at the end of the month for one lucky lady!

yes, exactly what the title says!!! Hubby went to work today for 12:30pm and I wanted to go outside and sit.. but sometimes I get so bored just sitting there watching the clouds go by. My Interview as GDT!
It's August!!
Already it's starting on a positive note; the sun is shinning and i am featured as a guest designer at Mon Scrapbook from Quebec! Very exciting. My interview is posted this morning ...
You'll also want to add yourself as a follower to their awesome blog... leave a comment on my blog indicating you added yourself as a follower and I'll have a little somethin' somethin' for one lucky follower on August 31!
* the interview is in French and English, just scroll down for the english version!
YOUPEEEEEEEEEEEE... I am very excited to be a guest and can't wait to show you some of my layouts created with the kit. ( First reveal is tomorrow ) I used the awesome papers for the sketch reveal at Creative Scrappers as well, i couldn't help myself .. it was perfect!
Can you introduce yourself in few words?
My name is Kristine. I’m 37 years old and live in New Brunswick Canada. I am a full time airline employee and part time Scrapbooker! I am married to a Scrap Supportive husband and we love our furry 9 year old kitty Eddie. We have no children so pictures of our nieces/nephews and cat are often found in the centre of my pages.
When and how did you start scrapbooking?
I started Scrapbooking in the Winter of 2006 with my first paper collection, the famous SLAB V from my local craft store and once I discovered Basic Grey and online scrapbook stores I was hooked! I wanted a new hobby since I had already completed cross stitching, lampshade making, and tole painting… scrapbooking was next! I enjoy the art of photography, and my nieces growing up so quickly made me want to capture a few of those memories for my family.
What is your "scrap" path ?
Once I started scrapbooking I worked at my local scrapbook store and teaching classes. I started submitted to online galleries and magazines, and was published a few times and then I branched out by creating my own blog and website. I created mini album kits and a sketch challenge site to encourage others and offer them a place to come and get ideas. I am still growing as a Scrapbooker and I look forward to the months and years ahead.
What is your creative process?
I sometimes scrapbook for a photo, but often find myself scrapbooking with new papers and trying to find a photo that matches. I get my papers ready, my photo ( I rarely use more than 1 pic!) a few embellishments, and lately my edge distresser . If I want to do a quick page, I use a sketch or if I want to do something different I usually grab a magazine or search online galleries for inspiration. I then put my page together and scream at my husband to come help me with a title!
Do you have any tools, materials or embellishments of choice?
My favourite items at this moment are my edge distresser, my brown ink pad, bright colored papers, and circle punch! I love circles and flowers and you can usually see a few on my pages.
Do you have any tips or advice to give us?
My advice would be to enjoy the process. Scrapbooking can sometimes be overwhelming with new products, new techniques, new things to Do and Not Do … but really its about preserving memories. Our families won’t care if the latest papers are used or if we inked our edges or not … they’ll care that our name is signed on the back of our layouts and we wrote the date the photo was taken.
My tip to all scrapbookers would be to challenge yourself. Try a few challenges, a sketch or scraplift your favourite designer. You might find an idea or two which will help you evolve and enjoy the process that much more!
