Hello Love | Jillibean Soup

 Hello Love ! Sharing a card I created using some Jillibean Soup - Hardy Hodgepodge. I love these colors together, and I love this card! Seriously! I love the twine, the colors, the mini placemat and of course that little clothespin. This paper collection is a must have and I hope you have an opportunity to play with it!

The Cut Shoppe | Guest Designer

Hello Friends!

I am a guest designer for The Cut Shoppe this month!!! I love Ashley's cut files and was super excited to be part of her reveals for the month of January. Her cut files are so whimsical yet some are very simple and detailed. I do love backgrounds so of course I choose a few background files to work with this month.

My first project is a card that I created with The Cut Shoppe file - Hello Hearts
and Simple Stories - Love & Adore

I love those hearts and while I only selected 4 of them for my card I find they highlight the pink so well. It had to be a sweet little valentine card  ;)
You could easily create a layout with this cut file and use parts of it or the entire design for a background.

My second project is a layout and I used the GEO Globe Cut file.

I LOVED the options for this cut file. You can fill out parts of the glove, all of it or none at all. SOOO many great options - those backgrounds are for sure my favorite to use.  This was created again using Simple Stories Love & Adore.

Oh What Fun | Simple Stories

I love the vibrant colors in this Simple Stories collection Mistletoe Kisses mixed in with blue and pink. It has a bit of a Christmas Theme but you can also use this as a great winter collection.  I used some snowmen, a few decorated Christmas trees, and hearts focusing on the love for snow!

The first layout I'll be sharing is called "OH What Fun!"

I have had these photos for quite some time and when Mistletoe Kisses came out I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for. These pictures of my niece enjoying the fresh snow fall and sliding.

I selected the blues, and whites as a major focus but added some green to give the page a contrast in color. I love that the green is used as a “pop” up color instead of the main focus.
Of course adding layers, and dimension adhesive is a must for me. I do enjoy the different colors. I added the CHEER alpha stickers but didn’t make that my title. I selected – the small sticker strip with OH What Fun my title. It seemed appropriate.

It's a Happy New Year! | Simle Stories

It's time for a Celebration and Countdown to 2017!

This fun page was created with the new Simple Stories collection called Happy New Year! I used a picture from a Crop and Create even .. really have nothing to do with New Years but the colors were perfect ;) 

 

I also used this collection to create a few PAR-TAY! invites ;)

What a great collection. LOVE the bright colors and it was really easy to work with.

This Girl | Jillibean Soup

Yes, this girl. She is growing up so fast and at 10 years old she is going on 16 already.  I cherish all those little moments with her - her sense of humor,  her love of life and animals and her big heart. I wish she could stay this age forever ... seeing her grow up makes me sad as it makes me happy and proud to be her aunt.

Let It Snow | Simple Stories

"Let It Snow" created for Simple Stories using Mistletoe Kisses

This page was of my niece during a photo session. It was a beautiful winter’s day and a warm sweater with a comfy scarf was all that was needed. I added a cut file background to my page but after finishing I should have done something with snowflakes.
I added the chipboard snowman and some trees on this page with more snowflakes. The colors in this collection are fabulous aren’t they? I love how you can really create your own “theme” – such as winter.

The package of bits & pieces from this collection are A-dorable! You can easily create a few layouts and have left overs for a few cards or adding some cuteness in your carpe diem planners!
