3 Scrappy Boys Reveal

I am a guest designer this month at 3 Scrappy Boys and I was lucky enough to play with this yummy kit -->

I was at a crop on Saturday and I brought this kit with me and completed 4 layouts with it! I still have tons of papers left and very pleased with the selection. It's like 3 kits in one ;-) I also love the extra bag of embellies with flowers, buttons, and brads -- so fun!!!

here are my layouts --
I kind of goofed on the title for this one... i don't think the stitches on the title are the best... but it's done ... ;-P

As you can probably tell I am loving the little banners, and my ink spots! heee!!!
The papers used were Lily Bee, American Crafts, and Bella Blvd.

Thanks for peeking and come join us at 3SB!

Altered Tote Bag/ATC

I think I am really enjoying this altered canvas thing... It is sooo fun to make a mess and get dirty with paints, i didn't think i'd enjoy it so much .. but it been a great learning process for me and a fantastic way to get creative!

This week I completed a tote bag from Micheals (5.99) I added acrylic paint, a little glimmer mist -- in a turquoise green color, flowers, bling and voila! A new tote bag... i think it's too cute to use ... but i might add a few embellies in the bag and keep it visible in my scrap room..

it's pretty large at about 12" wide and 14" high

Something else I also created where these cute Canvas ATCs. Acrylic paints, a few embellies and I didn't have any Donna Downey stamps so i used my Ali Edwards stamps instead. I like.. It was so fun to create these. Techniques learned from Donna's Fun with Fabric Class at Big Picture Scrapbooking.

That's my create projects for this week...

Altered Canvas Bag!

WOW! I can honestly say this was the most fun i've had creating in quite some time. I am participating in Donna Downey's Fun with Fabric Class at BPS and this is my first project from the class. Donna is amazing at teaching... one full hour and a ton of techniques!!! I can't wait till she comes visit next spring. I want MORE!

So, this week I started creating my Messenger Bag... from this ----
To This!

I was initially going to paint my bag green, some sort of green and I tried! As i sprayed my bag with water to activate the paint, it turned yellow... well no yellow bag for me so I added some pink.. yup pink.. but again as my colors were water activated it turned both to an orangie, pinkish two tone color. I wasn't crazy about it at first... but i do like it. I created muslin flowers and sprayed them with glimmer mist, added bling and more flowers and VOILA!
So FUN !!! I really made a mess in my scrap room including some acrylic paint on my walls, but that's okay.... i had fun!

Thank you Donna for making this an amazing class ;-)
