I will be the first to admit that creating tutorials scares me. Seriously, i find it terrifying LOL! i 'm not sure why -- maybe you'll try what i tried and go.. what was she thinking !! but today, i'm sharing something i just recently tried and maybe you'll enjoy it ;-)
Overall it was a great first trial to my { Gesso Alpha Background } Something i'll probably try again to use up some of those thickers!
First I used the Thickers from the My Creative Scrapbook Main Kit, a piece of cardstock, gesso, paint brush, water brush and gelatos.
Step 1 :
Place your thickers in a random order or create your own message on a piece of

cardstock. Take an old brush and add gesso to your alphas.
Let it dry overnight.
Step 2:
The next day take out some gelatos or watercolor paints and add them to your page. Rub on different colors to your alphas - as much or as little as you like,
I added a few selected colors to match the pattern paper i was using
- Blue, Red and Green. I didn't add a lot of color, i just wanted a hint of it.
Step 3:
After letting it dry for a few minutes
- the colors showed up nicely on my background
Step 4:
I added some messy sewing on my page and
started adding some papers and embellishments.
Overall it was a great first trial to my { Gesso Alpha Background } Something i'll probably try again to use up some of those thickers!
